Workspace as a Service is a blend of integrated managed services provided to optimize and automate the delivery of applications and data across multiple personalized devices without threatening the security of the data or the device itself.

WaaS is a combination of Desktop-as-a-Service (DaaS) and application delivery across corporate sub-systems, where DaaS is the public or private cloud distribution of virtual desktops to workers and applications as a service is the cloud delivery of applications to end user devices. Workspace gives end users streamlined access to all of their business applications and data from a single virtual workspace on any device at any geographical location and anytime. Furthermore, it gives IT a scalable, policy-based platform for centrally managing and securing corporate data across moving across devices. WaaS offers IT a user-centric platform on which all applications and corporate information are centrally categorized and then circulated to users based on their requirements.

Proliferation of portable devices in enterprises and dependency of enterprise class applications is driving the need of deployment of workspace solutions in an enterprise. WaaS is instrumental in ensuring seamless transfer of data and persona-centric applications across heterogeneous devices located at geographically diverse locations.
