Rating: 4 stars I have been using Contrast Security to review our application security for the past few months, and the product has provided great value. Firstly, the product is able to detect and report on vulnerabilities in a timely manner, with lots of granularity and detailed metrics available. Additionally, the tool is easy to use, it enables us to quickly scan large applications and to track vulnerabilities easily. However, I have noticed some interoperability issues with other security analysis tools, as some of our scans are not integrated properly with Contrast Security. Also, the customer service although helpful, could use a bit of improvement. Overall, Contrast Security is an excellent product that is worth looking into for organizations that are serious about application security.

The tool provided by Contrast Security is comprehensive, as it offered both dynamic and static security analysis. This allowed us to scan our codebase in both depths and understand where there were potential vulnerabilities and how best to remediate them. The user experience of this tool was top notch, it was easy to understand the output of the scans and view the results quickly. Additionally, the product offered extensive integration with other security tools, which allowed us to tightly integrate our security tools and processes into one centralized workflow. On top of the technical product, what impressed me the most was the customer service and overall innovation that Contrast Security provides. They have been very helpful in helping me understand the nuances of application security and providing use cases for next generation security technologies. I have no doubt in my mind that Contrast Security is a great value for money for any organization looking to make sure their applications are safe and secure.

The product was relatively easy to use and their customer service was great in helping us get setup and integrated with our existing applications. The product visibility was great as well, allowing us to see the overall security landscape at a glance and identify any potential issues almost instantaneously. One criticism I have is the cost of ownership for Contrast Security, as it can get quite expensive for the amount of features it offers. Additionally, I found their integration with other tools to be somewhat limited, so we had to get creative with our integrations. All in all, Contrast Security is an overall great product that I would recommend to anyone looking at application security.
