Review 3: Overall Innovation: 1/5 I recently evaluated Articulates eLearning Authoring Tools and had a wholly negative experience. For the most part, the product failed to excite in terms of innovation with its technology falling severely outdated and lacking any modern features like augmented or virtual reality. And, while the product is capable of creating web-based eLearning material, its lack of multimedia elements like interactive charts, graphs, and timeline tracking prevent its usability from being fully optimized. Cost of Ownership: 2/5 On the plus side, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the cost of ownership was quite manageable in comparison to other applications on the market. But, where the affordability of the product gained points, I had to subtract for the effort and time necessary to learn how to use the tools. And, however low the cost of ownership may be, it is not worth the effort for a product that is not on the cutting edge of innovation.

I find Articulate Studio is slightly more complicated than Storyline, and as such, it may take a bit longer to get the hang of it. The design is intuitive and allows for a streamlined experience for the learner. They also have done well to implement the latest technology to make the whole experience enjoyable. Finally, I wouldnt leave out customer service. Every time I had an issue, I got a speedy response from highly trained customer service personnel who remain as helpful as ever. I think customer service is an integral part of any companys operations, and I think ARTICULATE has done well in making sure their customer service is of the highest standard. Support Resources Apart from the great design options and feature list, Articulate also provides excellent support resources. Whenever I have needed help, Ive been able to find solutions on their website and forums. Additionally, their team offers support via email, as well as online video tutorials, which have been a great help in solving some of my problems. However, I do feel that theres a need for a more comprehensive support system for users. Product Vision As for the product vision and product features, Articulate does a great job in offering customers with innovative solutions for creating amazing and interactive courses. The range of choosable design elements and animation features allow users to create beautiful and breath-taking designs, and I particularly appreciate the ability to add effects and background music to the courses. However, while their templates are great, they might not be suitable for everyone. ARTICULATEs eLearning Authoring Tools offering Review #2 I recently purchased ARTICULATEs eLearning Authoring tools package and I am very content with the product. It is the perfect solution to transition from paper-based learning to digital. The platform has a drag-and-drop editor which makes content assembly, asset uploads and quiz addition simple and manageable. I believe I would have been able to transition even if I were not tech savvy. It is a comprehensive product which is easy to learn, and requires minimal upkeep. ARTICULATE scores very high marks with respect to being innovative and using cutting-edge technology. All platforms are intuitive and makes the process of creating learning content effortless. Theyve gone out of their way to accommodate digital media and designed the program to break it down into smaller interactive elements. Thats one element that genuinely keeps the learner engaged. I have to mention the fantastic customer service nothing short of spectacular. Whenever I had an issue, I was quickly assisted by knowledgeable customer service personnel who never hesitated to help. I believe that customer service is every companys best asset, and clearly ARTICULATE has realized that. In conclusion, I would rate my experience with ARTICULATE an 8.5 out of 10. The offering is innovative, uses the latest technology and has customer service that is up to par with what they advertise.

Im very impressed with what the Articulate 360 offer has. The software has been designed to provide innovating and next generation technologies that allow me to create and deploy eLearning materials quickly and efficiently. The software workflows are really sleek, offering multiple interactive elements that can be added to a lesson in a few clicks. I like that there is an analytics feature within the software that allows me to track which components of a lesson had the most success, so I can make quick changes on the fly if needed. I get access to 500,000 slides, characters, themes, animations, and photos to develop my courses. Additionally, the drag and drop interface makes it easier to customize courses and keep them updated. I can also add quizzes, surveys and videos to measure learner engagement. What really impressed me was the future-oriented capabilities. The animations make it possible to create immersive virtual scenarios, allowing learners to explore concepts in a safe, interactive environment. This makes the learning process much more engaging and effective. I also appreciate the ability to add videos and audio to bring complex topics to life in an intuitive manner. Review 1: Interoperability and Integration I recently purchased Articulates eLearning authoring tools and noticed right away that its interoperability and integration features were not as good as what others have advertised. I felt like its compatibility with other platforms was severely lacking. It wasnt able to use any of my existing text or graphics, making it difficult to port external content into the tool. I felt like this was limiting and hindered my workflow. Additionally, I could not use many of the different multimedia components I was accustomed to using outside. Overall, Id give it a 3 out of 5 for its interoperability and integration offerings.

Articulate Storyline is a great tool for creating customized and interactive elements for any course or learning experience. The platform is easy to use, so even those with minimal experience should be able to make good use of it. All in all, I found Rise to be a decent eLearning authoring tool for creating interactive courses. The software is still quite new, so it lacks the level of interactive elements that can be found in some other tools. It is bring constantly updated, however, so the added features and elements are appreciated. Im fairly happy with the quality and presentation of the materials I have managed to create, so I would rate Rise as an acceptable authoring tool.Rating: 3.5/5.

Review 2: Overall Innovation: 2/5 I had the opportunity recently to evaluate Articulates eLearning Authoring Tools and I was simply unimpressed with the level of innovation within the application. Despite its ability to create web-based materials with some degree of AI-enabled customization, the application completely overlooks next-generation technologies such as augmented and virtual reality, as well as multimedia elements such as interactive charts, graphs, and timeline tracking. The lack of modern technology severely limits the effectiveness of the its applications, making it extremely limited in its long-term effectiveness. Cost of Ownership: 4/5 Although Im disappointed in the lack of innovation, I did find the cost of ownership to be quite reasonable, especially when compared to competing products. While there does appear to be a slight learning curve with the tools, it is well worth the effort to become proficient using the software. Ultimately, the low cost of ownership is definitely a major draw for those businesses with limited budgets.

It was just what I needed to transfer my paper-based learning to digital format, and it was surprisingly easy to do so, thanks to the intuitive drag-and-drop editor that allows for quick assembling of content, uploads of assets and the addition of quizzes. I must commend ARTICULATE for their impressive display of innovation by breaking down digital media into smaller, interactive parts. Not only that, they also keep up with the most up-to-date technology to drive the process even further and make the whole experience much more enjoyable. The design is user-oriented, keeping the learner in focus. For customer service, I would say that ARTICULATE excels. As soon as I have an issue, I am quickly addressed by knowledgeable service personnel who are more than willing to help, and I feel valued and attended to as a customer. Overall, I would rate ARTICULATE a 9 out of 10. They have nailed it with innovation, as well as staying ahead of the curve with tech and offering impeccable customer service to their customers.

Although it may not offer as extensive features as some of their competitors, the cost of ownership was considerably lower, and the value for money was still quite good. The tools offered an adequately efficient workflow, which I felt was great for producing aesthetically pleasing courses. There are various versions of the software from which to choose, with the more expensive versions providing more features. The cost of ownership is very reasonable when compared to other similar offerings, and provides an adequate return on investment. When creating courses there is an easy-to-follow workflow and it does not take long to become familiar with the system, making it an ideal choice for creating engaging courses. I liked the ability to create interactions that do not require coding skills and this certainly helps to increase the value for money, therefore I would rate Articulate as 7/10.
