I chose to conduct a review for the Stepik authoring tools because the company boasted about their extremely comprehensive feature set. Unfortunately, the experience has not lived up to the hype. Customer service is virtually nonexistent, with a ticket system that cannot guarantee a response earlier than 2 days, and emails sent eliciting no response. Additionally, their product vision seems unclear, as feature updates seem to take an abnormally long time. The product features themselves left much to be desired. While they market their tool as being comprehensive, its feature set is surprisingly limited. Many features felt basic, and the tools could not truly be relied on to create truly interactive content. The product was also not suited for use in a corporate environment. On the whole, my experience with the Stepik tools was not a positive one. Support is essentially non-existent, the product vision is not well defined, and the feature set is quite limited. I cannot in good conscience recommend this tool to others and would rate it at 2.5/5'

'I own a mid-sized business in Thailand and recently heard about Stepik's eLearning authoring tools. I thought it would be nice to integrate into my current system, so I decided to review the offerings of Stepik. Overall, I feel that the tools lack innovation and do not use the latest next-generation technologies. I was not particularly impressed by the technologies used by Stepik. I found that the integration with other systems was quite poor and there were limited interoperability options. The solutions also lacked support for automation, which could make things much easier for our teams. In addition, the user interface of the tools was very clunky and unrefined. It seems like the UI was very outdated and didn't make use of the latest technologies. Even after several attempts to customize the interface, it wasn't intuitive and user-friendly. In terms of customer service, I have to give Stepik a poor rating. They did not respond to our queries in a timely manner. Additionally, they also did not offer much help when it came to resolving our technical issues. Overall, I'm not satisfied with Stepik's eLearning authoring tools. If they had invested in more innovative solutions, better interoperability and integration with other systems, and a modern and intuitive user interface, the products would have been much better. My rating would be 1/5 for overall innovation and use of the latest technologies and 2/5 for interoperability and integration with other systems.'
