The company is mainly focused on enhancing its inorganic growth by adopting strategies such as acquisitions, expansions, and partnerships. For example, in June 2017, Fugro partnered with Skyline Software System, Inc. to deliver a realistic 3D environment with enhanced viewing, query, analysis, and reporting options. This partnership also helped customers experience Skyline’s automated modeling technology along with TerraExplorer’s optimized analytics capabilities such as terrain analysis for flooding, contours, slope and volume metrics, lines of sight and view shed queries, and shadow analysis. In addition, the company expanded its market in March 2015, by adopting the strategy of new product development to gain a competitive advantage. In February 2015, Fugro launched its G4 service, which is a satellite correction service, to make use of all 4 global navigation satellite systems (GNSS), namely, GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, and Galileo. GNSS augmentation services improve position accuracy as compared to unaided GNSS receivers.
