: Rating: 3/5 I recently purchased Googles Geospatial Imagery Analytics offerings and while Ive been reasonably satisfied with it, I found the process of implementation a bit confusing. The product vision is strong, offering the user the ability to analyse data quickly and effectively. The product features are robust, allowing me to achieve most of the objectives I had set out for. The user interface is easy enough to use, but the learning curve can be steep for those with no prior experience in these types of offerings. I am grateful for the cost of ownership being quite affordable, but I find the interoperability and integration of the product slightly lacking. Thats not to say that the companys stability and maturity are in question, because that could not be further from the truth. Im also impressed with their overall innovation and customer service. The promise of future-proofing for upcoming use cases is an added bonus, and the use of next-generation technologies delivers on its promise. Overall, especially considering the value for money factor, Googles Geospatial Imagery Analytics offerings do bring a lot to the table. It would be better if they could improve the integration options, as well as the learning curve of using the user interface.

Rating: 4/5 Googles Geospatial Imagery Analytics offerings are a great way to optimize the data gathered in comparison to satellite data. The product is feature-rich and allows users to quickly and easily pull up and cross-reference data in an efficient manner. The user interface is simple and intuitive, allowing me to quickly set up my own datasets, and work with them as if I had years of experience. Whats even more impressive is the cost of ownership. I neednt break the bank to get access to the power of Googles Geospatial Imagery Analytics. The integration options are also great, allowing me to easily link up data and combine them for my own projects. The stability and maturity of the company is reassuring, and there is plenty of room to explore various options for futuristic use cases. Google has always been at the forefront of next-generation technologies, and this is no different. Their support and customer service, with help always just a phone call or email away, is wonderful. Overall, I find Googles Geospatial Imagery Analytics to be a great product which is worth every penny. It offers immense value for money and gives users the ability to quickly and easily analyse data.

GOOGLE INC Presence in Geospatial Imagery Analytics Software
Google has been focused towards the adoption of inorganic and organic growth strategies to boost its operational capabilities. The company made important acquisitions, investments, monetizing strategies for products, and partnerships to expand its product portfolio and market share in the geospatial imagery analytics market. For example, in 2016, Terra Bella, a subsidiary of Google, launched 4 earth imaging satellites, namely, SkySat-4, 5, 6, and 7 in geostationary orbit of the earth. These satellites joined the three other satellites already in orbit (named SkySat-1, 2, and 3), and together they formed the largest commercial constellation of imaging satellites. In February 2017, Google sold Terra Bella satellite to Planet Labs. Google will continue to license Earth imaging for its use from Planet Labs in a multi-year contract. Google will use the imagery received from Planet Labs to support its products such as Google Maps, Google Earth, or Google Earth Engine.
