The company has expanded its geographical reach across the world, and has earned profits mostly from the Americas. SAS has adopted both organic as well as inorganic strategies. As a part of its organic strategy, SAS has updated and introduced new products, thus expanding its geographical reach across the world. The new office supports sales of data analytics software in markets across EMEA, and acts as a hub for the region. SAS has also adopted significant inorganic strategies. For instance, In April 2017, SAS partnered with Cisco Systems, Inc., to develop and sell Edge-to-Enterprise IoT Analytics platform to their customers.
