Industrial Control Systems Security Solutions
SecurityMatters is a private company founded in 2009. Since then, it has been profitable and grown organically through the years, due to its ever-increasing customer and partner base. SecurityMatters received its first investment at the end of 2016 from a venture capitalist firm and three investors, namely Bosch, Phoenix Contact, and Dutch telecommunication provider, KPN. The investment was aimed at increasing SecurityMatters’ domain expertise for which it collaborated with these new partners, as well as strengthening its research, sales, and marketing teams. Moreover, in 2017, Nextnine, a provider of security management solutions, integrated SilentDefense into its ICS Shield solution. The first permanent deployment of SilentDefense in a production environment dates back to 2012. This makes SilentDefense the ICS network monitoring platform with the longest-lasting deployment in the ICS security domain. Furthermore, SilentDefense accounts for the largest number of installations among other solutions of its type.
