Summary

Both are web services that provide secure, flexible compute capacity in the cloud. They make web-scale cloud computing easier for developers by allowing them to quickly change scale capacity depending on their computing use and also provide tools to build failure-resilient applications. While using Amazon Web Services Lambda, the user needs to only supply the code, and the other activities such as system maintenance, capacity planning and automatic scaling, code and security patch deployment, and code monitoring are done by Lambda.
