As a pure-play software company, Saguna Networks partners with larger original equipment manufacturers and system integrators (including Juniper, Dell, and Tech Mahindra), to offer end-to-end MEC solutions while working directly with mobile operators to advance their MEC trials and deployments. The company partners with application developers and content providers to create a compelling and broad MEC ecosystem. In recent years, it has adopted inorganic strategies to strengthen its foothold in the MEC market. For instance, in February 2017, Saguna Networks partnered with Tech Mahindra to help operators optimize and manage the RAN for video delivery and IoT services by providing a way to transform the edge of the RAN into micro clouds with analytics tools. Furthermore, Saguna Networks has implemented inorganic strategies to enhance its product portfolio. In June 2017, Saguna Networks announced support for AWS Greengrass, a software designed to bring services from the network edge, using Saguna Open-RAN MEC platform. This enables mobile operators to compute the generated data locally while still leveraging the benefits of cloud for management, analytics, and durable storage.
