At our organization, we recently tried out the Catchpoint Network Monitoring Software and I regret ever using them. The cost of ownership was far too high for the value offered, and the product was severely lacking when it came to innovation.
The software itself was pretty hard to use and had fewer features than what I expected. Additionally, the key features -- like alerting -- were only available as an additional add-on that made it very expensive.
As far as innovation goes, Catchpoint was lacking in this area as well. They were a few versions behind what their competitors were using and I was told that upgrades for their software would not be available for at least 18 months.
So, to sum it up, I would highly advise that you look elsewhere when it comes to Catchpoint Network Monitoring Software. The cost of ownership was way too high and the product lagged behind its competition in terms of innovation.'

The software was easy enough to set up, however you really felt like you were getting nickel and dimed as you added features. For example, some features -- like alerting -- were only available as an additional add-on that made it very expensive in comparison to the other options.
On the innovation front, Catchpoint left a lot to be desired. They were not using the latest and greatest technologies, but their software was actually a few versions behind what their competitors were using. When I asked about upgrades, I was told that it would not be available for at least 18 months.
Overall, the Catchpoint Network Monitoring Software is only worth exploring if you have a hefty budget and are ok with sacrificing some of the latest in technology. My personal recommendation would be to look elsewhere or wait until they have updated their product.'

'I recently had the opportunity to work with Catchpoint's Network Monitoring Software offerings. This is my review of my experience.
I have to say, the customer service at Catchpoint is remarkable. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to help. They were more than happy to answer our questions and provide us with the necessary information. I haven't encountered any customer service issues with them, which is always a plus.
The ease of use with their software is excellent. The platform is sophisticated, yet still quite easy to understand and use. I appreciate how well the software runs, and the volume of features that it offers.
The reliability of Catchpoint's tools is unbeatable. I trust them completely to track and monitor our network needs without fail.
Finally, their pricing model is quite competitive and customer friendly. They took the time to understand our needs and tailor the plan accordingly.

My experience with Catchpoint’s Network Monitoring Software has been good, however there are a few areas where improvements can be made. One of these is the pricing model – while it’s reasonably priced, I think they should offer discounts when clients subscribe to the service for a longer-term period.
The software provides the right kind of insights and diagnostics, keeping the network reliable and up-to-date. Additionally, the future-proof capabilities of the software play an important role in allowing us to plan ahead.
My only issue with the software is that it’s a bit too comprehensive. A certain level of complexity is necessary, but I feel this can sometimes be a distraction. It would be great if they make it a bit more minimalistic and offer a simplified version that can be tailored according to our needs.
Overall, I believe Catchpoint’s Network Monitoring Software is a good choice for those looking to keep track of their network performance. With minor kaizen, this can be made into an even better service.'
