Mavenir has focused its strategy to build solutions and infrastructure that will enable service providers to build a flexible, scalable, and secure network. One of the company’s prime goals includes disruption of the radio piece of traditional telecom networks and replace it with cloud-based software solutions. The company is continuously developing a new solution to accelerate and transform network for CSPs. For instance, in 2017, the company launched its 5G core network and Cloud RAN solutions which made Mavenir as an end-to-end 4G LTE and 5G, IoT network provider. The company is also focusing on its inorganic strategies, for instance in July 2017, the company acquired vEPC product line from Brocade. The acquisition for vEPC product line enhanced its next-generation core network with a feature-rich, vEPC, and advanced network slicing capabilities important for 5G architectures. Moreover, the company is a part of xRAN Foundation, a consortium formed to promote software-based RAN. The xRAN consortium includes leading market players such as Deutsche Telekom, AT&T, and SK Telecom.
