Review #3 - Content and Resources Although seemingly comprehensive in terms of a wide range of content, the explanations and instructional materials offered were quite incomplete and missing key details. Having said that, the few resources I was able to access were helpful. But its hard to judge the full extent of their offering when their customer service isnt up to scratch; it feels like Im missing something, and its all because the educational resources and guidance offered has been so limited. For this, I rate the content and resources as 4/10.

The product doesnt provide many features that could be beneficial to a company in the onboarding process. It was extremely difficult to navigate and use and understand. Even after reading the instructions several times, I still struggled to use some features and understand the product. There also werent any helpful support staff members available to help me either, so I was ultimately left very frustrated. When it comes to futuristic use cases, I couldnt find any that could potentially be leveraged. This made me question the viability of the product going forward and left me feeling disappointed. Although I found it to be quite helpful, there were still a few areas in which it could be improved. One such area was the interoperability of the software. While it did allow me to connect the software to other platforms, I found that the process was not always smooth. There were a few areas in which I found myself having to refigure various settings and parameters, which was quite frustrating. The support for use cases was also only fair. While I was able to access multiple use cases, I found that some of them were not always implemented correctly. This caused some confusion in our onboarding process and also slow our efficiency. The integration of the software with our other existing HR systems and processes was also only fair. I found myself having to configure the software manually, which was quite a time-consuming process. Overall, I was only moderately impressed with HRweb Softwares onboarding software. While it did help our onboarding process to some degree, there were still a few areas where it could be improved.

The core features that the product offers are basic and it isnt very advanced when it comes to futuristic use cases. Im of the old-school mind that believes that features should come with the price of a product, particularly when it deals with technology. Unfortunately, I was charged extra for every single thing I wanted, from additional integration solutions to more powerful reporting capabilities. It became too much of a hassle and I have yet to make use of the majority of the product. In my opinion, the cost of ownership was too high and not worth the investment. Whether I was dealing with customer service issues or exploring the platform, the lack of flexibility and user control was highly noticeable- often I felt like I had to conform to their softwares way of doing things as opposed to customising it as I saw fit. The core features of the product are ineffective and dont provide any futuristic use cases that may be beneficial in the long run. Its simply a poor product and the cost of ownership is not justifiable. The packages include too many additional fees and the feature set is too limited. Review #4 - User Experience Using the onboarding software provided was an OK experience; although, it did feel very outdated in terms of both look and feel. Having to contact customer service and explain my issues to someone over the phone felt like a chore, and there never seemed to be anyone specifically assigned to my account. Furthermore, features such as payment and tax information settings werent easily customisable, which was a bit disappointing. Overall, Id rate the user experience as 5/10.

To start with, the platform exceeded my expectations by featuring tools to notify and onboard employees in almost every step of the onboarding process. The notifications system listed in the backend could be tailored for individual employees, highlighting all of the tasks the employe had to complete in order to be onboarded. Not only was this was a great help to me as a consultant, it also reduced the manual effort required by the onboarders. The use cases offered by the software also had me ecstatic. For instance, the AI-driven artificial bots could be used to automate HR processes in employee onboarding, eliminating the need for manual intervention. By using automated notifications, I was able to reduce the onboarding time drastically something I thought to be a huge plus point. Moreover, the price was extremely reasonable and I feel the returns are far exceeding the cost I paid.
