'Review 3 of Automox's Patch Management Software Offerings
I can’t in good faith recommend Automox’s patch management software - it’s just too clunky. Given that we have a distributed environment and needed a solution to patch a variety of software and operating systems, this was an unsuitable option. I’d rate it a 1 out of 10. The lack of integration and interoperability is apparent when you need to constantly switch out the patching software in order to keep up with different OSs - no easy feat if you have a widely distributed network of computers. On top of that, the manual steps needed to be performed made it inefficient and tedious. Again, manual steps are warranted any time you need to work with multiple platforms, but the UI doesn’t account for that. All in all, no one else in my IT department wanted to keep using this solution and so we are looking for something better.'

'I recently began using Automox's patch management system for my company. I can say with certainty that this product has taken our patching efforts to the next level. We previously thought we were up-to-date on security patches but now realise that Automox's system is able to identify and patch vulnerabilities that we were unaware of.
Additionally, the system is extremely easy to use. It allows us to manage patches across multiple systems with a single click and their customer service is always helpful and timely whenever we run into any issues. All in all, the patch management system from Automox is a huge asset to us.
That being said, I do wish that Automox had some more secure methods of authentication. Currently, the system only supports basic authentication. Adopting secure alternatives such as multi-factor authentication could provide better security to our patching efforts. Other than this, I'm very pleased with Automox's patch management system and give it four out of five stars.'

Moreover, the user interface is user-friendly, making it easy for IT teams to ensure immediate patching of their end-users.

I am the head of a large conglomerate in the retail industry with several IT-dependent units. We have recently switched to Automox's Patch Management Software, and while the software itself is quite great, I find Automox's customer service lacking.
The ease of use with Automox's software is phenomenal. The software interface is modern, and intuitive platforms make navigating tasks extremely simple. Despite this, I have encountered numerous glitches while using the software and the customer service did not step in to assist with technical support. This posed a challenge when I wanted to address some of the bugs that I encountered in a timely manner.
In terms of customer service, I found the response from Automox to be slow and unhelpful. Support requests took several days to be addressed, and oftentimes, the responses were not very helpful. This concerned me, as I found myself having to seek extra technical help to figure out solutions that the customer service did not provide.

I recently purchased Automox’s patch management software for my small business in the hopes of staying ahead of cyber security threats. I was somewhat impressed with the feature set the software offers, but there have been substantial drawbacks as well. I have had difficulty in supporting it going forward into the future, plus, the cost of ownership has not been very impressive either.
The software has a lack of scalability, making it difficult to upgrade or incorporate future technologies. On top of that, the user interface is clunky and difficult to use, wasting a significant amount of time when it comes to the patching process. Additionally, for a small business, the cost is incredibly high; I’ve not had any substantial savings from this system like I had hoped.
In the end, I’d have to say that Automox’s patch management software is good but not great. While it does offer a certain level of protection for my small business, the lack of futuristic use and pricing structure makes it a difficult purchase to justify.

Product features are perhaps the most compelling benefit of this patch management platform. With access to 3rd party solutions like Packages, Powershell Scripts, MSIs and EXEs, patching the entire company was much easier. Furthermore, their approval settings were extremely advanced and customizable which enabled us to limit access to certain features to only the most trusted IT personnel. These features saved us both in time and money which is a huge win.
Beyond the product vision and features, cost of ownership was also key. Automox was competitively priced compared to some of the other solutions on the market. What really sold me was the ability to audit the software, allowing me to limit the overall cost and purchase what we needed and nothing more.

I recently purchased Automox’s patch management software for the company I manage, with the hope that it could help protect against cyber security threats. While I have found some uses for the software, I was quite disappointed in the cost of ownership and lack of future vision.
The system as is does not allow for very good scalability, making it near impossible to incorporate newer technologies or upgrades to the system. This means that I am unable to take full advantage of new features, as the software is unable to keep up. Additionally, the user interface is outdated and confusing, making the patching process far too time consuming.
On top of all that, what really puts me off is the price tag. While Automox’s patch management software offers a certain level of protection and features, I find it to be far too costly for my small business to justify. I may end up upgrading in the future, but for now, I’m not willing take the cost hit.

The automation and secure cloud threat protection help our IT staff manage patching without having to manually labor, which was a major time saver for us.
The product features that Automox offer are very strong as well. From 3rd party solutions like Packages, Powershell Scripts, MSIs and EXEs, patching the entire company was much easier. The approval settings were also customizable and enabled us to only give access to certain features to trusted personnel.

'Automox recently helped us with our patch management needs and I couldn’t be more pleased with the end results. When it comes to product vision and features, Automox really stands out. Their focus on automation to improve the patching process was key for us as it greatly reduced the amount of time needed for manual labor. We switched to Automox's Patch Management Software a few months ago and it has been fantastic. It has given us a great level of control over our patch cycle and allowed us to ensure we keep up to date with the latest patches.
The interface is clean and intuitive, making it easy to dive in and learn quickly. The support team have been great and have always been quick to answer our questions. The cost of the software was also fairly reasonable considering all the benefits it has offered us.
On the downside, we have experienced some issues with deploying patches to some of our systems due to incompatible libraries. This has been frustrating, however we are still able to get the patching done faster than with our previous system.
Overall, I am very satisfied with Automox and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a patch management solution. We've found great value for the cost and really appreciate the level of control we now have. 7 out of 10.'

I’ve been using Automox’s patch management software for a few weeks now, and I’d rate it at a 3 out of 10. The software promises interoperability and integration, and it does work somewhat in that regard, but it’s not very seamless. Even after I did the setup and gave my team the full tour, many of them still found it difficult to manage multiple endpoints at once. The UI isn't very intuitive either, so needless to say there is a significant learning curve. Because we have a massive enterprise network with different operating systems, we had difficulty getting the patch management software to do what it was advertised to do - automate patching across the network. All of the manual steps and extra combination of software components necessary to get the job done made life unnecessarily hard, and I can’t help but feel that we should’ve gone with a different option instead.'
