Ingenico ePayments is a prominent player in the payment security market. The company is gaining a strong foothold in the payment security market through new product launches. In June 2017, the company announced the availability of a PSD2-compliant solution to help its customers grow internationally. In June 2017, Ingenico ePayments teamed up with SlimPay, a French fintech company, to jointly develop new solutions with SEPA Direct Debit (SDD) payment capabilities for online merchants. The company also provides its support to Fraugster, a payment security company operating in Israel and Germany, for the development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) techniques to eliminate payment frauds and help merchants increase profits. In April 2017, Ingenico ePayments expanded its footprint in Ukraine with the acquisition of Systems of Secure Transactions (SST), which previously was Ingenico ePayments’ partner for payment activities in Ukraine.
