2. AWARD by QINETIQ - Review by Supplier Partner Overall Rating: 1/5 I recently switched to QINETIQs AWARD Procurement Software and have not been satisfied with the results. It is difficult to stay on top of all my quotes and invoices and the system is not intuitive. The customer service has been terrible - scripted emails are all I get when I call in looking for help. Another issue is the lack of product features. There is no ability to customize price quotes or invoices, no way to apply discounts or bulk discounts, and no way to export data or view reports. These are staples of other procurement software and a serious disadvantage to the AWARD software. The product vision and product features are lacking compared to other solutions on the market. It takes too long to navigate and execute tasks in the system and the lack of features and customization options leaves me with a feeling of dissatisfaction. I would not recommend AWARD by QINETIQ to other suppliers. The customer service is poor, the product features and product vision does not match up with other market solutions, and the overall navigation is slow and tedious.

The software is intuitive and user friendly, but I found that it was a bit slow and unresponsive at times. And while the customer service is quite responsive, I found that it took a lot of time during the onboarding process. I know that in order to purchase the right products at the right price, I need to have access to the right tools, which is why I chose to give QINETIQs procurement software a try. I must say that Ive been extremely impressed with the features, ease of use, and cost of ownership. In terms of features, the software has it all. Im able to access a graphical interface, easy to understand menu prompts, and customize access rights and number of supplier sources. The software also even allows me to track the performance of individual vendors, which helps ensure that Im getting quality products. The ease of use of the QINETIQ procurement software has been top-notch as well. The interface is incredibly intuitive and Im able to quickly purchase the items I need without having to engage in a lengthy learning process. Im able to update payment and address information quickly and even view detailed graphs representing the data Im accessing. Lastly, the cost of ownership of QINETIQ procurement software was very reasonable. The time savings I have experienced have been immense and have allowed me to quickly locate and purchase the right items. The cost of the software is easily offset by the time saved. In conclusion, Im very pleased with QINETIQs procurement software offerings. As an Engineering Manager, I was quite excited about the idea of having a fully automated procurement software in the form of AWARD from QINETIQ. It would make the inventory management more efficient and would certainly streamline the operations in the organization. While testing the software, I was disappointed to find out that the product was far from reality. The integration and deployment was quite challenging and we werent able to use all the features to the best of its capability. Moreover, the product was missing some of the fundamental procurement practices such as budget control and audit tracking, which was quite critical for us. I would rate the product 5/10 in terms of product vision and features. Additionally, the package we opted for was quite expensive owing to the license and setup cost. There were additional services that we had to purchase to make the software work. This on top of the license cost made it quite expensive and definitely didnt offer a good value for money. For starters, the customer service is virtually non-existent. The representatives I spoke with on the phone multiple times rarely answered my questions and their responses often felt robotic and rehearsed. Customer service should be a priority for QINETIQ, as this is not conducive to a successful procurement process. The second issue I noticed is the value for money. The pricing of the software is on the high end compared to other procurement software options and while the novelty of the front-end design is attractive, Im not sure its worth the price. Some of the features such as compliance tracking and analytics are quite useful, but a few of the functionalities are not as robust as others. My overall rating for QINETIQ Procurement Software is 2.5/5. It has its quirks and may not be the perfect fit for some procurement teams, but if the customer service and value for money are improved, it could be a great product.

First of all, let me start off by saying that I did appreciate the idea of having a complete procurement solution with AWARD. It allowed us to streamline our processes, have better control over budget and manage our procurement activities in an efficient manner. It had been a while since we saw a centralized procurement software and to be honest, I was quite excited when I heard that QINETIQ was offering this software. It seemed like a step toward the right direction. However, my experience with AWARD hasnt been the best. The product vision was clouded with a lot of deployment and integration issues and it seemed hard for our team to run complex scenarios. Moreover, there were a lot of features that were missing for us to fully leverage its potentials. The product lacked support for fundamental procurement practices such as auditing, tracking and budget management. Id rate this 2/10 in terms of product vision and features. The cost associated with using this product was also quite high. We spent a lot of money on the license and set up and we even had to purchase additional services to make it work for us. QINETIQ Procurement Software Review # 5 I had the chance to work with QINETIQ Procurement Software and while there are some great features, the customer service and value for money leave much to be desired. The customer service has been terrible. Every time I had to talk to one of the representatives, they sometimes seem like they had no idea what they were talking about. This coupled with the fact that they had a rote response to all my queries was something that made me doubt their understanding of the software. The second issue was value for money. Im not sure the pricing of the software accurately reflects its features and capabilities. The features are definitely useful, but for such a high price tag, there has to be more. That said, Im not sure if the software is worth the price. I would rate QINETIQ Procurement Software 2.5/5. If customer service and value for money were improved, I believe it would be a better product.

Im also able to quickly update payment and address information, allowing me to move on to the next purchase quickly. The cost of ownership of the software has been quite reasonable. The cost of the software is easily offset by the time savings I have experienced. Im able to locate and purchase excellent products quickly, allowing me to become much more efficient in my purchasing process. In my opinion, QINETIQs procurement software is well worth the money. Its support for suppliers and buyers alike was quite keenly felt and again it all came backed with its great out of the box reporting capabilities. The softwares Purchase Order Management (POM) feature also made a world of difference for us when it came to the accuracy of our tracking goods, as well as giving us better visibility over any part of the procurement process. Thats all great, however there are still some features that dont quite get the job done as well as they should. There have been times when the software has proven to be a bit slow and clumsy to navigate and the invoicing section doesnt give me confidence in its accuracy. Rating: 3.5/5

The AWARD software brings with it a range of exciting new features and functionalities for me to explore, such as its robust tooling for managing the eCommerce, the ability to automate inventory tracking, the integrated real-time analytics, the integrated mailing and customer notifications and so much more! The customer service has been second to none; they have been always willing to go the extra mile to ensure that all of our individual business needs are taken care of. 10/10! The system itself is really easy to use. We found it very user-friendly and it was quite straightforward for us to configure the system to our requirements, even for our new members. We were able to set-up everything without having to call in technical assistance. 9/10! The analytics feature has worked wonders in terms of our vendor management. It gave us a full report on all of our vendors performance and enabled us to negotiate better deals with existing ones as well as identifying possible new procurement options. 8/10! The automated email notifications have also helped us greatly in alleviating communication issues with our customers. 4. AWARD by QINETIQ - Review by Supplier Partner Overall Rating: 2/5 I have been using AWARD by QINETIQ for about two months as a Supplier Partner and have not been pleased with it. The customer service is lacking - slow response times and limited help when I do get in touch with someone. In addition, the product features make it difficult to offer solutions to buyers. The product vision and product features do not match up with other solutions on the market. There is a lack of customization when it comes to price quotes and invoices and no way to apply discounts or bulk discounts. Also, there is no ability to export data or view reports. This makes it difficult to track progress and gather analytics. Navigating the system can be time consuming and cumbersome. I find myself double checking quotes and invoices to make sure there are no errors because of the slow performance. All in all, QINETIQs AWARD Procurement Software does not meet my expectations or needs. In conclusion, I would not recommend AWARD by QINETIQ to other Supplier Partners. The customer service is poor, the product features and product vision are not up to par, and the navigation is slow and tedious.

QINETIQ Procurement Software Review #4 As a procurement consultant, I have used QINETIQ Procurement Software on several projects and have encountered several issues - customer service being the biggest issue. The customer service staff are usually not helpful or knowledgeable and it often feels like they are giving me pre-scripted answers. It takes too long to get a response and I find the process quite infuriating. The second issue I encountered is value for money. Dont get me wrong - the interface is visually pleasing and there are some features that could be quite useful, however its still quite an expensive purchase for a software with so many flaws. Im not sure that the features are worth the higher price tag. My overall rating for QINETIQ Procurement Software is 2/5. If customer service and value for money were improved, it would be a better product.

QINETIQ Procurement Software Review #2 My experience using QINETIQ Procurement Software hasnt been ideal, especially for the price I paid. The user interface is nice and it has some pretty useful features, but the customer service is absolutely atrocious. Ive called multiple times over the course of weeks and months and usually left feeling frustrated. The responses of customer service staff felt very scripted and they often werent able to answer my questions with detail or provide any real solutions. The second issue I encountered was value for money. The software certainly has its advantages and there are some exclusive features that could be very useful in the long-run, however the price simply doesnt match the offering. Im not sure the pricing accurately reflects the features and capabilities of the software. I would rate QINETIQ Procurement Software 2/5. It might be a good fit for some people, but its not the perfect option. In order for it to reach its full potential, the customer service teams and the value for money should be looked at more closely.
