Compared to other systems that leverage AI-supported customer analytics to generate customer loyalty insights or use AR technology in customer engagement, this system is extremely lackluster. Even though the system supports WIFI connectivity, it is not well integrated with the system and often leads to slow or no connection. I really appreciate the fact that it does all of the necessary things that I need it to do, and that it integrates well with most of the other applications I use for my store. The pricing structure is straightforward and is split by monthly fees, initial setup fees (which are on par with the fees of other systems Ive researched) and software costs. The monthly fees are obviously the biggest out-of-pocket cost so its a plus that theyre transparent and included in the purchasing guide, however theyre still hefty. Ive seen other POS systems with slightly lower operating costs that offer more features, so while Web Masters LLC is not overly expensive theyre not the most cost-effective option either. The hardware needed to run Web Masters LLCs retail POS system is pretty standard and nothing out of the ordinary. It works with the majority of existing market technologies and is compatible with a variety of tablets and computers. Its easy to deploy, upgrade and configure and works seamlessly with most standard point-of-sale machines. My main issue is that some of the more advanced features wont be available with some of the cheaper models, so theres an incentive to splurge on more comprehensive hardware. To be honest, I cant say that the system is worth the money that I spent. Customer support is available, but it often has long wait times and the fees for their services are high. Review 5 (Cost of ownership): In terms of cost of ownership, this system is also quite pricey. Although the initial purchase of the hardware is relatively affordable, the software license renewals and other technical expenses can add up to hundreds of dollars. Furthermore, unlike many other POS systems, WEB MASTERS LLCs Retail POS System does not offer any bulk discounts, which adds up to the cost immensely. Also, customer support takes too long to respond and charges high fees for its services. Unfortunately, due to the high cost of ownership and lack of cost saving options, I must rate this system 1 star out of 5.
