We were pleasantly surprised at the speed of deployment, the short learning curve, and the seamless integration. In a matter of weeks since release of the project our entire organization was working on Manhattan Active Transportation, which saved us a lot of precious time. The use of cloud-based solutions was also a bit of a surprise. We were not expecting transportation solutions to use the cloud, but it has greatly improved our scalability and flexibility. Overall rating: 10/10. Manhattan Active Transportation is a very comprehensive transportation solution that delivers comprehensive scalability and performance. The help section wasnt of much help either and this added to the confusion. Also, the periodic updates and associated maintenance caused disruption in our business processes. Cost of Ownership Rating: 2/5 I have had the unfortunate experience of Manhattan Active Transportation for sometime now and I must say, its been inadequate for our business. We have large ships that come in and out of the port, the application was only able to accommodate a limited size which left us with large transportations routes that were not even considered by the software. We had to use separate manual applications to support all of our transportation needs and that added additional layers of cost. Not only was it expensive to keep running but it was practically impossible to keep up with the amount of paperwork that was required to support it as well. Supporting Futuristic Use Cases Rating : 1/5 Manhattan Active Transportation has been a roadblock in our quest to remain competitive and transition to the world of futuristic use cases. We wanted to incorporate technologies such as GPS tracking but the software didnt have the capacity to support it. Cost of Ownership Rating: 1.5/5 Manhattan Active Transportation has been nothing but a financial burden for us. We have been looking to achieve efficiency with our transportation fleet but the features the application provided was too limited for our scale. We had to find workarounds to cover the inefficiencies of this application and for that, had to pay a lot of extra money in order to make it work. Furthermore, we had to purchase additional upgrades to integrate this application with our existing systems and processes. In conclusion, I find the cost of ownership exceptionally high and would not recommend it. Supporting Futuristic Use Cases Rating: 1/5 I find the lack of immersive features really concerning when it comes to Manhattan Active Transportation. It totally lacked features such as real time analytics, computer vision and AI which are essential in being futuristic. We had to extensively look for external options to integrate these features into our process and this adds to the cost of ownership.
