Im a non-technical user who is just getting started in the virtualization field, so ease-of-use was a key factor in me choosing Platform9. Ease of Use: 5/5 The interface is quite intuitive and provides just enough features without feeling too overwhelming. After spending some time using the software, I felt comfortable quickly creating and managing my virtual machines. I really enjoyed the fact that it allowed me to dive right in without having to constantly refer to documentation. Customer Service: 4/5 The customer service from Platform9 was generally very helpful, though I did experience some delays in getting responses. However, once I did get in touch with someone, their knowledge was very good and they were able to quickly clear up any questions or issues I had. Overall Experience: 4/5 Im pretty happy with my overall experience so far. I mainly chose Platform9 because it was easy to use, but Im also satisfied with its features and customer service. Id definitely recommend Platform9 for those who are just getting started in the virtualization field.

3. Platform9s Virtualization Software offering is simply not good enough. I have been using it for some months now and it has turned out to be very limiting in terms of its functionality. I have found that the platform does not support modern use cases and requires lots of coding for the applications to be properly developed. Whats more, the pricing of the package is not value for money. All in all, I think this technology is not suitable for my organization and will not be recommending it to anyone. The platform was not very user friendly and it had some limits in terms of customizing and optimizing the software for our needs. It also lacked a lot of features that would have allowed us to utilize the platform for futuristic use cases like artificial intelligence and blockchain. Moreover, the pricing of the platform was not really worth the cost, in my opinion. Review 5: Platform9s Virtualization Software offerings - Cost of ownership Rating: 0/5 As someone who recently opted for the Platform9s virtualization software for my organizations needs, I am quite dissatisfied with the cost of ownership. The initial package has a quite attractive and competitive cost. But, when it comes to the actual infrastructure and app deployment, the hidden costs started to pile up. We had to bear additional charges for administration and support along with the automated updates as well. Given the high cost of using Platform9s product, it is not really worth the cost. Even for relatively small organizations like us, it is utterly unaffordable. Thus, I would not recommend it.

I wouldnt recommend Platform9s virtualization software offerings when it comes to interoperability and integration. Their platform doesnt support a lot of different hypervisors and cloud providers, severely limiting its capability to manage a highly distributed environment. The lack of built-in integrated tools to move or migrate virtual machines between different hypervisors also makes this product quite hard to use. But, I feel that the cost of ownership of the product is not justifiable. Initially, the price seems quite economical and attractive especially for the smaller organization like us. However, once we move to the actual infrastructure and app deployment, the hidden costs started to pile up. There were several instances of additional charges for administration and support. Moreover, the automated updates were billed separately as well. Considering the high cost of using Platform9s product, it is not really worth the cost of ownership.
