Review #1: I recently had the chance to experience the full range of products from Promega Corporations Genomics offerings. Despite the enormous breadth of products and cutting-edge technologies offered, the service experience was far from satisfactory. The customer service personnel were lacking the necessary technical knowledge and real-world experience to provide the critically important support needed at times of complexity. With no real-time, automated tracking facility available, communications with customer service personnel often break down due to the delay in responses. My experience in using the Promega Corporations Genomics offerings was also quite disappointing. The technical features and capabilities promised did not really exist, leading to a lot of frustration on my part. It was almost as if the company was completely unaware that the technical features they promised were not actually operational or available. Having said all that, I was quite impressed with the product vision of Promega Corporations Genomics offerings, as they had clearly put a great deal of thought into the potential of their products and how the current and future market can be provided for. 3. Promega is one of the leading providers of genomics solutions and I can attest to the quality of their solutions. Ive become very familiar with the tools and reagents they offer, including their NGS Assay Design Toolkit and GeneCraftâ„¢ probes. As an industry veteran, I appreciate the robustness of the tools and reagents and the accuracy with which the reagents process gene expression data. Overall, Im very impressed with Promegas solutions and have become an advocate for their solutions. However, I do find that the software user-interface can be dated and somewhat awkward. It can be a bit of a learning curve to use, but once you get the hang of it, it can be incredibly useful. Rating: 4/5
