It features portal and customizable dashboards, data visualization, web and desktop reporting, mobile BI, MS Office integration, query and analysis, storage and data exploration, metadata management, guided analysis and model development, and application development. SAS Visual Statistics, available as an add-on with SAS Visual Analytics, is designed for data scientists, statisticians, and business analysts, allowing them to explore massive pools of data, and then interactively and iteratively creating descriptive and predictive models through a drag-and-drop web browser interface. SAS also extends its embedded analytics capabilities to IoT through its SAS Analytics for IoT solution, which not only supports analytics at the edge, but also supports analysis, visualization, and data integration on data center or the cloud. The company works with many communication and hardware vendors to support embedded analytics in their edge devices, especially IoT gateways.
