“Delivers some notifications”

My employer contracts with AtHoc for emergency notifications. When the system works, it works well, with timely notifications. I requested notifications to this app, several phone numbers and email addresses. Not every notification is delivered every time. I do not know if that is an app issue or an AtHoc issue

“Best in sending real time alerts”

This solution sends real time alerts during any panic situation and along with it also sends lists of recipients and who has responded. This helped me to keep track of the response rate. It is very quick and accurate.

“Easy Implementation and Integration”

Overall sales cycle was difficult as all vendors were very pushy and deadline driven. However, after selection the product does exactly what we were looking for and the implementation was very easy and quick.

“Alert triggering made easy”

Triggering an alert is very simple. Only thing we have to do is add the location and send out the alerts to the targeted groups

AtHoc Alert Presence in Mass Notification Systems Solutions
BlackBerry AtHoc is a leading vendor in the MNS market, and it has expanded rapidly both in its scale of operations and partner networks. Prior to the acquisition by BlackBerry, AtHoc had its presence concentrated mainly in US, but post that, it has rapidly expanded its footprints in other parts of the globe through its international offices in Dubai, UAE. It also leverages the advantage of the extensive global presence of its parent company BlackBerry in several countries to grow its customer base. Nevertheless, North America remains to be the major focus region for the company as most its customers are from this region. BlackBerry AtHoc majorly caters to 6 industry verticals: commercial and industrial, government, healthcare, defense and military, state and local, and transportation and aviation. The company provides tailor-made mass notification solutions for these industry verticals. It has a robust partner channel, which consists of technology partners such as AccuWeather, Motorola Solutions, MIR3, ATI Systems, and ESRI; and resellers such as Harris, RGS, Cisco, IronBow Technologies, and UniSys. AtHoc is an active participant in many emergency and mass notification industry associations such as National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), Organization for the Advancement of Structured Information Standards (OASIS), Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA), and National Emergency Management Association (NEMA) providing valuable inputs and expertise in the use of technology as a critical communications tool and driving industry standards in emergency MNS.
