'Southern Sands has been using Carlson Natural Regrade mining software for the last 5 years and we have been generally happy with their services. The software has enabled us to quickly and accurately sort through the mines for valuable minerals which was, and continues to be, invaluable for our business.
Nevertheless, there are some areas that could be improved upon. We have experienced several instances of slow downs and unresponsiveness which is mildly frustrating. Also, the customer service team can be a bit difficult to reach which can be tedious.
Overall, we would say that the software is good but not great. And for the high price, we just don't think the value is there. We would rate it at 6/10, acknowledging its capabilities but disappointed in the cost.'

It really helps to automate many of the tedious and time-consuming tasks that are needed in surface mining operations. I have been extremely impressed with the way it has been able to integrate its data calculations with CAD drawings and paper soil engineering calculations. It has also helped to reduce the amount of manual inputting of data for a typical project. To top it off, the cost of ownership is incredibly reasonable. I have found the software incredibly easy to use. The interface is very intuitive and user-friendly. There are tons of helpful videos and tutorials to walk me through any questions I have. Even though I have used the software for a few months, I still feel like a pro! I am confident in the accuracy of the results Carlson Natural Regrade provides and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good mining software. 5/5.

I recently evaluated Carlson Natural Regrades mining software offering and I am obliged to report a negative experience. Firstly, I found the interface of the software to be uncomfortable and confusing. Navigating through the menus and settings of the software proved to be difficult and there were no helpful hints or guides present to guide me. Additionally, the mind modelling functions of the software were not satisfactory. The mind model presented only gave vague suggestions as to grade outputs and these were often inaccurate and misleading. Furthermore, I felt that the 3rd party integration provided for the software was substandard. I was hoping for a larger variety of integration options from other vendors but sadly, there was only one. Finally, the technical support provided was slow and often incorrect. I felt that the staff were not well-versed in the software and I ended up wasting precious time resolving issues. All of this led me to give Carlson Natural Regrades mining software offering only one star out of five.

That said, the cost of ownership could do with some reduction and I hope the company does just that. My team has benefitted from the features the software provides. Being able to recalculate volumes and access geological data without any issues has lightened the load when dealing with various tasks. 'Obsidian Ores have been working with Carlson Natural Regrade for the past 5 years. The software has been a major asset in our process of mineral reclamation, as it has made the sorting and analysis of mines so much easier and faster.

I have been using Carlson's Natural Regrade Mining Software for several months now and I want to share my review.
This software is simply amazing. It has great accuracy and integrates with existing systems with ease. In addition, its real-time data makes it incredibly useful to monitor progress. I have also been able to more accurately predict the best areas to mine with more ease and it has helped me keep operations in compliance with regulations.
The only thing I don't like about the software is the high price. It has a subscription model and the initial cost is quite high, even for experienced engineering managers.

Usability While I will say that the product is relatively easy to use, I still think that it is not user-friendly. There are too many steps to perform certain tasks and its hard to find the right settings in the various menus. Review 1 I recently trialled Carlson Natural Regrades Mining Software offering and found it left a lot to be desired. I would rate it average at best. The software promised an easy-to-use interface, yet in my experience it was inconsistent and unintuitive. It took me some time to figure out how to use it. While it was helpful in some areas for example, in analysing wind and mining patterns, I found it was lacking in other areas. For instance, the customer service was appalling - I couldnt get any live support, and the automated responses were slow and unhelpful. In addition, the value for money wasnt great. I felt the cost of the software didnt match up to the features and services provided, rendering it not worth the expense. Overall, Carlsons Natural Regrade Mining Software isnt worth it for customers who would like more features and better customer service. Rating: 2/5.

Carlson Natural Regrade used as Mining Software I have been using Carlson Natural Regrade (CNR) as a Mining Software for the past few months, and it has really helped us increase the efficiency of our operations. It has a great user interface with user-friendly features. We employ its technology like auto-surveying and GPS to make sure that projects move forward without any delays. We also appreciate its ability to provide us with accurate forecasts and visuals to help us make well-informed decisions. Its ground modelling and block modelling are also helpful. CNR also made it easier for us to carry out the reclamation work, which put us in good stead for further operations. The product features of the software are impressive and its vision is commendable. We are also satisfied with its performance and its ability to collect data from the site quickly. I give it a 8.5 out of 10 for ease of use and a 9.5 out of 10 for its product vision.

Not only does it quickly and accurately identify and report natural gold occurrences at a mining site, but it also offers an intuitive user interface which makes it easy to customise for any operation. Additionally, I have taken full advantage of the 3D graphics abilities that allow me to optimally visualise my mining sites. Furthermore, the reporting and analysis capabilities of the Carlson Natural Regrade are second to none. Their cloud-based system effortlessly stores and retrieves information, which greatly improves the efficiency at which I can report my findings to other miners. I especially appreciate how automatically-generated accurate reports help me avoid any manual data entry, which would be an unnecessary waste of my time. In conclusion, Carlson Natural Regrade mining software has been a fantastic addition to my mining operations. As a veteran in the mining industry, I have tried many different software programs. Most recently I used Carlson Natural Regrade software, and Im pleased to say I was impressed with the results. Its incredibly user-friendly, providing results in a fraction of the time required by other programs. The customer service is impressive, too, as all my queries were answered promptly and satisfactorily. The only area I feel they could improve is the cost, which I think is a bit too high. But considering the level of accuracy and speed, its worth every penny. I would definitely recommend using Carlson Natural Regrade and I would rate it 8 out of 10.

Its USP of easy integration with GIS systems was really helpful for me in my day-to-day job as IT Infrastructure Manager. Dealing with switching GIS systems can be annoying and this software took all the hassle away. The deployment process was really straightforward and the support team was very helpful in quickly resolving any issues I faced. Ive found its estimate tools to be quite accurate and the ease of use makes it pleasant to use. For instance, the softwares ability to define boundaries between the angles of the pit wall and accurately predict the amount of cut and fill required is a real time-saver. Its also great that the software is entirely web based, meaning we dont need to install any software ourselves. In terms of customer service, I havent had any major problems with the software, but I did run into a few minor issues which the customer service team dealt with quickly and effectively. They were always helpful and friendly when talking with them, and I never had any major issues. For the time being then I would rate their customer service 4 stars out of 5. The question of whether the software provides good value for money is one that is tricky to answer without knowing all of the specifics, but in general I would say we have seen good value for our money. The software definitely has its limitations, but so far we have found that it has offered us a great range of features while also not being overly expensive. To that end then I would rate the value for money of the software as 4 stars out of 5. So overall then I would rate Carlson Natural Regrade Mining Software as 8 stars out of 10. It has some great features, but also some limitations, and it has been a good value for money.

'Quicksilver Quarries has been using the Carlson Natural Regrade mining software for the past 4 years and have been very satisfied with its utility. The software is incredibly efficient in sorting out the mines for valuable minerals, saving us time and money.
In regards to customer service, they are always available and very knowledgeable in their field. Furthermore, they have never been anything but helpful in helping us access the software and answer our queries.
