Given the sensitive nature of the data we work with, security is a major concern for us. After using SmugMug's Photo Management Software for a while, I don't find it an ideal solution. I wasn't too impressed with the user interface, it feels a bit sluggish and outdated. The product also lacks major features that many of their competitors have such as facial recognition and photo tagging, making it difficult to effectively organize a large library. Additionally, I don't see any of the next generation technologies such as AI or Machine Learning integrated into the product. Without this, photo recognition and photo editing capabilities feel severely lacking. Overall, I'd give their product 1/5 stars for overall innovation and use of next generation technology.'

I recently decided to switch to SmugMug’s photo management software for our small business and so far, we have been very pleased with the product. There are so many features that have absolutely made our lives easier; our business has more than three hundred employees and staff members, and if they all needed access to the photos, it was not going to be plausible to manually move them around. Now, we are able to have different user profiles with varying degrees of access control.
For example, we can give the executives and project team members lightroom features so they can easily search for the photos they need quickly. Similarly, we can also grant different users permission to either approve or reject images before they are uploaded in the library. This has saved us a lot of time!
Furthermore, the customer service that SmugMug provides has been extremely helpful! If we have a question, we can quickly get a professional answer. It's nice that we don’t have to be put on hold or have to wait for long customer service windows.
The cost of ownership has been surprisingly affordable, considering how much this has benefited our business. We opted for the Enterprise-level package which allows us to customize the options and have a team of professionals set it up for our account. Definitely worth every penny.

'SmugMug’s Photo Management Software offerings are an exceptionally powerful and useful tool for any Engineering Manager. The software is extremely easy to use and learn, taking just a few minutes to get familiar with the features and functions. The ability to quickly organize, store, and classify images is a lifesaver, helping reduce my work burden significantly. The Interoperability and integration of the software also struck me as being commendable; it can work in tandem with many commonly used applications, such as Dropbox, so I can easily send photos to clients in a matter of clicks. Not only does SmugMug have great integration with image and data formats, but it also seamlessly integrates with a range of other photo management software, such as Instagram, Adobe Photoshop, and Lightroom. As expected, the ability to quickly and securely share and store files through Dropbox and OneDrive was also of great value.

As the Senior Manager, I had to take into consideration various aspects when selecting a photo management software for our organization. After studying various options, I decided to try out the SmugMug software.
To start with, the SmugMug software allows us to choose a monthly fee or an annual plan. There are enough payment options to fit our budget. The rates may be slightly higher than other options, but the features make it worth it in my opinion.
The SmugMug software provides a wide selection of features and tools. One thing that impressed me was the innovation as it includes facial recognition technology to identify subjects in the images. This makes it easier for us to search efficiently for the images we need.
Plus, the software integrates with VoIP calling systems, such as Skype, so that we can communicate with clients more conveniently.
Overall, the SmugMug software offers a lot of good features and tools. However, the cost of ownership is a concern in my opinion. I have to rate it 3 out of 5.'
