'Resource Management Software Review 3 - Float Recently, I tried Float's Resource Management Software for my small business. For the most part, the software set up easily and was quite intuitive. It gives a full overview of resources and accurately presents where resources are allocated. However, that comes with a hefty cost of ownership. Not just in terms of the initial purchase cost, but also in the monthly fee and training expenses. Additionally, it wasn't overly interoperable with ERPs, which was a little bit of a challenge to overcome. There were bugs that had to be worked out, as well. Overall, I rate Float's Resource Management Software seven out of ten. The software is great for getting a comprehensive overview of resources, but could be improved with lower costs of ownership and better interoperability.'

Not only for the up-front cost of the software, but also for the time I had to dedicate to training employees on the system. Furthermore, the interoperability and integration with my ERP proved to be a little tricky. Finally, there were a few bugs within the software that took time to work out. Despite these hiccups, I rate Float's Resource Management Software eight out of ten overall. They provide a great overview of resources and, if you can afford the costs of ownership, it's more than worth it.'

The implementation was not as smooth as I had hoped and the user experience was nowhere near what I was expecting. The instructions for using the software were not comprehensive enough and too much time was spent just trying to figure out how to use the various features. 'Resource Management Software Review 4 - Float Recently, I gave Float's Resource Management Software a try for my small business. I must say that it set up fairly easily and has an easy-to-follow layout. What really makes the software great is that it provides an extensive breakdown of where resources are allocated and gives a good understanding of the company's project status. That said, the costs of ownership are high with an upfront cost and tedious training and maintenance expenses.
