SAS Visual Text Analytics Presence in Text Analytics Software
SAS is a reputed company, providing analytics software and services to many industry verticals; of which, the BFSI, and government and healthcare are the most viable, as they generate maximum revenues. The company has a global reach, having offices in 58 countries and approximately 83,000 customers, worldwide. The company follows organic as well as inorganic growth strategies to increase its client base. For instance, in August 2016, the company entered into a partnership agreement with Aimia, which allowed Aimia to provide SAS’s advanced data analytics and modeling operations to customers in Canada and also helped increase SAS’s client base. SAS also signed an agreement with its existing partner Teradata Corp. The agreement allowed Teradata to become a global authorized reseller of the SAS data management software, which would also help SAS expand its clientele. In terms of organic growth, SAS uses business expansions to increase its market share. For instance, in November 2016, SAS opened offices in Ireland to support sales of data analytics software into markets across EMEA and make its presence felt in Ireland.
